Team Spirit for
a Good Cause

Around 1,000 guests, 26 teams, and one shared goal. At the first B&B HOTELS Dreamers Cup, the MEWA Arena in Mainz became a gathering place for people who wanted to enjoy soccer together, celebrate, and support a good cause. As B&B HOTELS interior fit-out partner, our #TEAMRK was right at the heart of the action.

THE B&B HOTELS FAMILY COMES TOGETHER

For one day in June, the field belonged to the extended B&B HOTELS family. Employees, partner companies, suppliers, corporate clients, and many family members and friends came together for the inaugural Dreamers Cup.

Even before kickoff, there was plenty happening throughout the stadium. The teams warmed up, the stands began to fill, and guests gathered for conversations along the sidelines.

KICKOFF FOR 26 TEAMS

A total of 26 teams from the B&B HOTELS family and partner companies competed in the tournament. On the field, the teams battled for goals and a place in the final. At the same time, their participation helped support people in need.

Several well-known figures from the world of soccer were also in attendance. Former professional soccer player Thomas Meggle, Mainz 05 record appearance holder Dimo Wache, and Raphael Assibey Mensah accompanied the tournament and supported the teams throughout the event.

Soccer That Makes a Difference

All team registration fees were donated in full to two charitable organizations. By the end of the event, a total of €66,666 had been raised.

Mainz 05 hilft e. V. and the Bärenherz Children’s Hospice in Wiesbaden each received €33,333.

Mainz 05 hilft e. V. provides fast and straightforward support to people in need throughout the region. The Bärenherz Children’s Hospice supports children, adolescents, and young adults with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families.

The Day Goes Into Extra Time

Following the awards ceremony, the celebrations continued with a summer party. With music, great conversations, and many memorable moments, we brought the day to a relaxed close.
