Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give is simply being there. For families of seriously ill children, that means hope, strength and togetherness. With a year-long room sponsorship at the Ronald McDonald House in Vienna, we want to make exactly that possible – offering a sense of normalcy, comfort, and support during an especially challenging time.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Opened in 1987, the Ronald McDonald House on Kinderspitalgasse was the first of its kind in Austria. Up to 15 families can find a temporary home there while their children receive treatment at the nearby St. Anna Children’s Hospital. After a comprehensive renovation in 2024, the house now offers modern, thoughtfully designed rooms, fully equipped shared kitchens on every floor, two large playrooms, and a green terrace for a moment of peace. Here, families can take a breath, recharge and regain strength together despite all their worries.

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

Through our room sponsorship, we cover the costs of one family room for an entire year. This allows parents and siblings to stay close to their children – free from financial strain and in a place that offers comfort and security. The sponsorship is a heartfelt project for us and part of our commitment to taking responsibility and offering support.
