Holiday Program 2024:
Craftsmanship Up Close
Little Artisans,
Big Impact
Once again, as part of the Holiday Workshops 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming children passionate about craftsmanship from the local area to our in-house training workshop. Of course, our future talents from within the company were also in attendance. On the second day of the RK Holiday Workshops, our #TEAMRK 4.0 was in full swing! While mom or dad worked, the little artisans were hard at work themselves, full of energy, in our training workshop.
Fostering a Passion for Craftsmanship
from a Young Age
Our training workshop plays a pivotal role: every year, we train carpenters who learn the craft from the ground up with passion and skill. During the Holiday Workshops, the children had the chance to explore this world. Under the expert guidance of our experienced trainers and apprentices, they could take their first playful steps in the world of carpentry – from sawing to sanding and hammering.
With great enthusiasm and creativity, our young guests spent both days building their own candy dispensers. There was plenty of hammering, sawing, and crafting – and the results were truly impressive! The kids experienced firsthand how fulfilling it can be to create something with their own hands.
Fun and Creativity at Work
These valuable experiences not only ignite a passion for craftsmanship but also nurture the next generation of artisans. It’s not just about teaching skills; we aim to foster a love for creating. The joy and pride the children felt as they took home their self-made candy dispensers are the best proof of how meaningful these experiences are.
Craftsmanship is the future – and through events like our Holiday Workshops, we are raising awareness early on about the importance of these skills for tomorrow’s world. Our training workshop is not just where the Holiday Workshops take place; it’s also the center for training the next generation of carpenters. We’re already looking forward to the Holiday Workshops 2025 and to inspiring even more young people to fall in love with craftsmanship!
